Meeting Purpose

To collaborate amongst training partners and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to guide new initiatives that enhance National DPP workforce capacity

Meeting Objectives

  • Describe initiatives for MOU-signed training entities to support the scale and spread of the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP).
  • Identify strategies to increase accessibility and inclusivity of training for Lifestyle Coaches that represent disproportionately affected populations.
  • Discuss lessons learned and opportunities to enhance delivery of the January 2023 pilot of the National DPP Group Coaching Certificate Program.
  • Create opportunities for engagement and collaboration among training entities
