The American Journal of Preventive Medicine is the official journal of the American College of Preventive Medicine. It publishes articles in the areas of prevention research, teaching, practice and policy. Original research is published on interventions aimed at the prevention of chronic and acute disease and the promotion of individual and community health.
ACPM offers a variety of newsletters on preventive medicine topics, including news and research, public policy, lifestyle medicine, and violence prevention.
ACPM works to increase preventive medicine’s influence in discussions on health care and health systems reform. ACPM also works to amplify the voices of ACPM members who take stances on important issues in the public policy sphere.
