The Uniformed Services Academy of Preventive Medicine (USAPM) is a council within ACPM that serves as a liaison between the Uniformed Services and ACPM's broader membership across preventive medicine and population health. USAPM members come from all branches of the military, as well as the U.S. Public Health Service, and bring valuable, diverse perspectives to ACPM. They work to foster interest in preventive medicine opportunities within the Uniformed Services and advocate for educational curricula to prepare providers for the unique nature of work within the Service.

Join USAPM

ACPM members who currently serve, have served or who work alongside the Uniformed Services may join USAPM and support its critical mission for an additional $35, paid in conjunction with their annual ACPM member dues.

  • Foster interest in preventive medicine training programs and practice opportunities in the Uniformed Services of the United States.
