The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) is a leader in the field of informing, educating, and supporting medical professionals about the critical significance of preventive medicine and the latest advances in the field. Our organization provides educational opportunities through the development of comprehensive continuing medical educational (CME) programs. We aid our membership with ongoing courses and other opportunities so they can obtain preventive medical education experiences and CME credits.
The ACPM mission is and always will be to empower health care professionals who are dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of individuals, families, communities, and populations through disease prevention and health promotion.
Our educational curriculum is structured around the core competencies of preventive medicine: Epidemiology, Infectious Disease, Environmental Health, Behavioral and Mental Health, Biostatistics, Clinical Preventive Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine and Health Systems Management.
