Building Resilience: Preventing Pandemics, Health Inequity, and Climate Change

Preventive Medicine 2021 was held May 16 – 19 as a live virtual event. Hundreds of preventive medicine and public health professionals gathered to participate in sessions that covered topics ranging from health equity to climate change to pandemic preparedness and recovery.

Even though the live event has concluded, you can still engage with this cutting-edge and dynamic content. 

Preventive Medicine 2021 used a cross-cutting lens to explore ways that we can address our broad prevention mandate. 2021's conference theme was “Resilience” and subthemes included COVID-19 and pandemic preparedness, social justice and health equity, and climate change and human health. This conference recording includes content from tracks for population health management and health technology, public health practice innovation and community medicine, research evidence and policy, clinical preventive and lifestyle medicine, and the future of preventive medicine training and advocacy.
