ACPM offers members and the public a variety of newsletters related to Preventive Medicine. All newsletters are available to ACPM Members and Subscribers. Most newsletters are available to the general public, for either free or a yearly subscription.

American Journal of Preventive Medicine

The American Journal of Preventive Medicine is the official journal of the American College of Preventive Medicine. It publishes articles in the areas of prevention research, teaching, practice and policy. Original research is published on interventions aimed at the prevention of chronic and acute disease and the promotion of individual and community health.



ACPM News is the monthly newsletter containing articles, columns, and features on what is happening at ACPM and with our members. It may also include short announcements of external events, volunteer opportunities, and funding opportunities we believe would be of interest to you and our broader membership. ACPM News is available for ACPM Members, Subscribers and other professionals who sign up.


Washington Update

Washington Update is a monthly newsletter detailing ACPM's advocacy and legislative work. This newsletter gives an overview of events in Washington that impact preventive medicine, as well as actions ACPM has taken in the Administration, on the Hill, and with our partners to advocate for our legislative priorities. Health Systems Transformation Newsletter

Health systems transformation is a systems-based approach to improving patient and public health that are designed to increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare. National Violence Prevention Network Newsletter

The National Violence Prevention Network is a broad-based coalition of local, state, and national organizations dedicated to violent death prevention by advocating for the full implementation of the National Violent Death Reporting System (NVDRS) in the United States.
