Enthusiasm Abound at Preventive Medicine 2018

Thank you to all who attended Preventive Medicine 2018. We were thrilled about your enthusiasm and excited to have met you in Chicago.

Highlights of the conference included plenaries:

  • Katharine Boucot Sturgis (KBS) Lecture, Cummins' Livewell Strategy: An innovative, results focused approach to preventive and lifestyle medicine, presented by Tom Linebarger
  • The Role of Design in Health System Transformation, with panelists Bon Ku, MD, MPP; Charu Juneja, MBA; and Shannon Kraus, MBA, FAIA, FACHA
  • Health System Transformation from the Front Lines: Who's 'Accountable' and for What? with panelists Carl Couch, MD, MMM; Michael Pignone, MD, MPH; and Michael Parkinson, MD, MPH, FACPM

Other highlights of the conference included:

  • Awards banquet and membership meeting open to all attendees
  • Volunteer opportunity with the Chicago Recovery Alliance
  • Over 160 attendees taking advantage of the headshots booth
  • An all-day opioid institute following the meeting with experts from around the country
