Kate McFadyen is the Senior Manager of Government Affairs for the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM). Her responsibilities include promoting ACPM’s advocacy and policy initiatives to the legislative and executive branches of government.

Prior to joining ACPM Kate was a Director of Government Affairs at QGA Public Affairs, where she focused on healthcare issues. Kate worked on issues including Medicare, funding for biomedical research, and access to medicines.

Kate received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Master’s degree in Political Science from Appalachian State University.
