PM residency training focuses on data management and the role of data in decision making for individual patients and population health and there are intrinsic similarities and opportunities in PM training with regards to informatics. These similarities would be the basis for the Clinical Informatics Special Interest Group in developing learning objectives for PM physicians and residents, creating CME/ MOC material, setting informatics rotations with industry partners, and advocating for PM physicians job opportunities in informatics sector. Who Should JoinParticipation in the Clinical Informatics group is open to Full members of ACPM that are certified in Clinical Informatics, unless by special invitation. How to JoinMembers that meet the criteria of joining should ensure their profile is updated to reflect their certification. They will automatically be added to the group unless they notify the group leader or membership they do not wish to participate. |
