In April of 2013, at the encouragement of a number of public health leaders, the Public Health Leadership Forum (PHLF), funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), and organized, managed, and facilitated by RESOLVE, convened a group of stakeholders to explore a recommendation from For the Public’s Health: Investing in a Healthier Future (IOM 2012) to further define a minimum package of public health services. Subsequently, the Definition and Constitution Working Group (DCWG) was created as part of the PHLF to articulate a framework of foundational public health services, comprised of a set of cross-cutting, essential skills called foundational capabilities (FCs), and substantive areas of expertise or program-specific activities known as foundational areas (FAs).

This webinar will provide an overview of the framework and activities to date and address as many questions as time permits. Please visit the website for more information and to register for this event.
