Please join the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine at their annual conference in 2014. For many years, scientists have struggled with whether human characteristics and diseases are pre-determined by genetics (Nature) or a result of influences of the environment where we live (Nurture). At this meeting, we’ll reject either/or hypotheses and aim to explore in depth the role that both nature and nurture play in allowing adolescents to grow and develop to their fullest potential.

Our theme is "Nature and Nurture: Moving to a Deeper Understanding of Adolescent Health.” The program is filled with innovative research, clinical workshops and discussion forums for attendees from diverse disciplines.
