Join us Monday, October 21st, 2013 at 8-9pm EDT for a webinar jointly hosted by the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) and the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) to discuss "The Epidemiology of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)" This is the second webinar of the Community Healers Inspiring Tomorrow (CHIT) Chat series, which will run monthly throughout the academic year, focusing on a wide range of preventive medicine topics. This webinar will feature Sonya Norman, Ph.D., PTSD Consultation Program Director for the National Center for PTSD and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UC - San Diego. Dr. Norman  will give an overview of the diagnosis of PTSD and some key epidemiological data regarding PTSD. Common comorbidities, assessment, and treatment will also be discussed.
