Kate McFadyen, MADirector, Government Affairs
Kate McFadyen is the director of Government Affairs for the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM). Her responsibilities include promoting ACPM’s advocacy and policy initiatives to the legislative and executive branches of government.
Prior to joining ACPM, Ms. McFadyen was a director of Government Affairs at QGA Public Affairs where she focused on healthcare issues including Medicare, funding for biomedical research, and access to medicines.
Ms. McFadyen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in Political Science from Appalachian State University.
