Profile:
Allyson Petty joined the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) in October 2012 as the Meetings and Education Coordinator. She is responsible for the logistical operations of ACPM's educational meetings and conferences, and assists the Director of Meetings and Education with special projects. In addition, Allyson serves as the staff liaison to the Scientific Abstract Review Committee and organizes the abstract review process for ACPM’s Preventive Medicine Annual Meeting.

Allyson began her non-profit career more than a decade ago, and has diverse experience in various areas, including meeting planning, administration, membership, and editorial support. In her most recent position, Allyson planned the educational content for meetings focused on collaboration between various oncologic specialties.

A native of Virginia's beautiful Eastern Shore, Allyson loves the water and enjoys spending time at the beach with her family. She loves displaying her culinary skills, and is also an avid runner.
