Haydee Barno, MBA, CMP is the Director of Meetings and Education at the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM). She is responsible for leading ACPM's educational meetings and conferences, and oversees the execution of special projects and priorities for the organization. Haydee works with the College’s volunteer committees on specific projects related to program content and directs staff regarding logistical coordination of meetings.

Prior to joining ACPM, Haydee was employed as Manager of Meetings at the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO). AEO is a national membership organization that supports Microenterprise Development in the United States. In that position, Haydee executed more than 50 events for the organization and was responsible for the development and execution of its first Microenterprise Training in Spanish.

Mrs. Barno earned her law degree from the American University of Managua (UAM) in 2000 and her MBA degree from Strayer University in Washington, DC in 2010. She is also a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). Prior to her arrival in the U.S., she worked for a firm that specializes in commercial law. Mrs. Barno is fluent in English and Spanish.
