More About Preventive Practice Committee

The Prevention Practice Committee meets in-person twice a year and hold periodic conference calls.

The Committee is charged with the following:

  • Development of practice and public policy statements addressing high-priority topics for ACPM.
  • Development of position statements on topics that already have been the focus of an evidence review, analysis, or recommendations by an entity outside of ACPM.
  • Distribution of appropriate consumer-oriented health education policy statements on important preventive medicine topics.
