policy beginning in the year 2000. The policy compendium is organized according
to topic areas broadly based on the Healthy People 2010 focus areas
(see complete listing of topic areas below).

Each policy within the compendium is codified to reflect date and policy
type. It follows the format YYYY-NNN (T), where Y= Year, N= Number, and T= Type
