Director of Communications
Angel Waldron is a fan of all-things Communications; dedicating her career to it for 17 years. Prior to ACPM arrival, she was a consultant at CharityWise Inc., a Director of Communications at American University and Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications at the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. She first became enamored with the field after an internship-turn-hire at W.B. Doner & Co. She has since served as a national spokesperson and representative to the media; and regularly appeared in broadcasts for Wall Street Journal Radio, CNN Radio and NPR as well as ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX television affiliates.
Angel has recurrently been quoted in articles by USA Today, Forbes magazine, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and WebMD, among others. In addition, she has managed and cultivated partnerships with Pharmaceutical companies (Genentech/Novartis, Teva, AstraZeneca, Mylan), the National Basketball Association, Product manufacturers (L’oreal, Acuvue, BreatheRight, Dyson) and nonprofit health organizations. She has also written and edited articles for consumer health magazines such as Coping, ADVANCE and Health Monitor.
Angel earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Morgan State University, where she received the Senior award for outstanding achievement in writing. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Communications Management from the University of Maryland.
