ACPM's 3rd Recertification Board Review Course in the Specialty of Public Health & General Preventive Medicine is scheduled February 23-24, 2016 in Washington, DC. The course is designed to assist diplomates study for the recertification board examination.
- Effectively prepare for the certifying examination in the specialty of Public Health/General Preventive Medicine by comprehensively reviewing the specific topics listed in the American Board of Preventive Medicine Study Guide and Examination Content Outline for the General Preventive Medicine/Public Health specialty exam.
- Helping attendees identify topics within Epidemiology, Clinical Preventive Medicine, Environmental Medicine, and Health Services Administration for which they may need additional preparation.
- Familiarizing attendees with the processes of MOC Part IV required for recertification in Public Health/General Preventive Medicine.
Who should attend?
The course is designed for Preventive Medicine diplomates who are board-certified in Public Health/General Preventive Medicine and diplomates board-certified in Occupational Medicine and/or Aerospace Medicine who are considering certification in Public Health/General Preventive Medicine.
Continuing Medical Education
ACPM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide CME for physicians. ACPM designates this educational activity for a maximum of 15.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The Review Course has also been approved for credit toward Maintenance of Certification (MOC) by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
