Board Certification

Preventive medicine physicians are licensed to practice by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM). The board also works to encourage the study, enhance the standards of practice, and advance the cause of preventive medicine. ABPM recognizes three preventive medicine specialty areas: aerospace medicine, occupational medicine, and public health and general preventive medicine. Candidates studying for the board examination can benefit from exclusive ACPM board review courses, study materials, and Ask the Expert sessions.
