ACPM Global Climate Change and Health Conference

Join our expert panel of speakers as they address how preventive medicine physicians and other healthcare providers can work with patients and community leaders to recognize, mitigate and adapt to the health effects of global climate change. Conference participants will be asked to make a commitment to action and create a plan for using the content and resources gained during the conference to continue to explore opportunities to address global climate change.  These commitments will demonstrate that the issues covered and discussed are a priority to attendees and ensures participants translate practical goals into meaningful results.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Increase understanding of the science base and health impacts of global climate change.
  • Learn about best practices to mitigate the effects of global climate change.
  • Acquire the information needed to impact global climate change policy across all levels of government, communities and professional institutions.
