Wayne Dysinger, MD, MPH, FACPM
Dr. Dysinger currently serves as Chair of the Department of Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University and as Medical Director of the Lifestyle Medicine Institute headquartered in Loma Linda, California, USA. His primary passion is Lifestyle Medicine and using that to reverse the chronic disease epidemic that is occurring worldwide. Dr. Dysinger is the immediate past President of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, is on the board of the American College of Preventive Medicine and has worked in various capacities with the American Medical Association and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research. Dr. Dysinger continues to see patients, teach, research and on a regular basis, and has done consulting on Lifestyle Medicine for organizations and associations around the world.
Dr. Dysinger earned his M.D. degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine (1986), and his MPH from Loma Linda University School of Public Health (1990). He has previously worked in clinical and global health in Guam, in teaching and patient care in Atlanta, and in an academic, patient care and research capacity at Dartmouth University in New Hampshire, USA.
