The Membership Committee is pleased to share current membership information with the Board of Regent.

Current Membership Numbers: ACPM has 2,264 members (167 Promotional memberships, 89 Affiliate, 62 Associate, 283 Emeritus, 912 Fellows, 14 Inactive, 412 Members, 324 Residents).

Invoices: ACPM billed 1894 members for dues in the 2001/2002-membership year. As of late June, 126 remain unpaid. ACPM Regents have been enlisted to assist in the collection of the remaining member dues. As of late June, $298,915 has been collected.

Recruitment: Sixty-two new members have joined ACPM since February 1, 2002.

In keeping with the Membership Marketing Plan, the Membership Department sent 400 letters to recently deleted members encouraging them to rejoin the association. We also sent all the newly boarded ABPM diplomates a letter offering them a free six-month membership with the College.

A letter is being created to go to all current non-member Residency Directors encouraging them to join ACPM.

We are also creating a new brochure highlighting some of our prominent members (Satcher, Healy, Tuckson, Roper, etc) – this brochure will be available by APHA.

Retention: New invoices will be run and mailed in late July/early August. The new fee structure approved by the Executive Committee will be noted on the invoices.

The ACPM membership dues will increase to the following for the 2002/2003 membership year:

Associates/Members/Fellows $255

Affiliate $110

Residents/Emeritus-Journal $55/50

Emeritus-No Journal $5
