STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
- Medical students who are interested in
learning more about Preventive Medicine
are strongly encouraged to join the
Medical Student Section (MSS). A one-time
fee of $25 covers membership for four
years of medical school (Includes
subscription to the American Journal of
Preventive Medicine). To join, please

RESIDENT MEMBERSHIP
- Residents are eligible for Resident
Membership throughout their residency
training. Resident Members are eligible to
vote and to hold office in the
Resident Physician Section. Dues
for the 2011 membership term are
$65.
All new applicants joining after
9/1/2010 will pay the full membership dues
for 2011. Applicants will
receive the remainder of the 2010
membership year with our compliments!
(A subscription to the
American
Journal of Preventive Medicine
is included.)

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

Recent graduates of residency programs are
eligible for Affiliate Membership.
Affiliate Members may remain in this
category for a maximum of three years
following residency training. Affiliates
may vote but are not eligible to hold
office.
Dues
for the 2011 membership term are
$145.
All new applicants joining after
9/1/2010 will pay the full membership dues
for 2011. Applicants will
receive the remainder of the 2010
membership year with our compliments! (A
subscription to the American Journal of
Preventive Medicine is included.)

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Doctors of medicine and doctors of
osteopathy who are not certified by the
American Board of Preventive Medicine or
by another American Board of Medical
Specialties board or any American
Osteopathic Board and physicians who have
been trained and/or are living abroad and
whose credentials cannot be easily
evaluated are eligible for Associate
Membership. Associate Members may remain
in this category indefinitely. They are
eligible to vote but are not eligible to
hold office. Dues
for the 2011 membership term are
$310.
All new applicants joining after
9/1/2010 will pay the full membership dues
for 2011. Applicants will
receive the remainder of the 2010
membership year with our compliments!

FELLOWSHIP
- Physicians who have been ACPM Members
for at least three years, in good standing
for the three years prior to applying for
Fellowship, and who have contributed to
the field and to the College are eligible
for Fellowship. Members may advance to
Fellowship by completing a supplemental
Fellowship application. Fellows may vote
and are eligible to hold office.
Dues for the 2010 membership term are
$310. (A subscription to the
American
Journal of Preventive Medicine
is included.)

EMERITUS MEMBERSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP
- Fellows, Members and Associate Members
who have held membership in the College
for at least five years, have attained the
age of 65 and who have retired from active
practice are eligible for Emeritus status.
When retirement from active practice is
due to physical disability, the Board of
Regents may waive the time and age
requirements. Emeritus Members and Fellows
are not eligible to vote or to hold
office. Dues for the 2010 membership term
are $60 (including a subscription to
the
American Journal of Preventive Medicine)
or $15 without the Journal.
