- Lifestyle
Medicine 2012 will provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills
and tools to effectively use lifestyle medicine as primary treatment in their
patients. Expert speakers will share knowledge on shared medical appointments,
disease reversal programs, wellness coaching, exercise prescription, nutrition,
depression and mental health, as well as skills for working with patients to
change the lifestyle causes of disease, including diet, exercise and stress
management.
Attendees
will participate in multi-day, multi-track educational lectures, group
discussion and experiential education to gain confidence with clinical and
practice management Lifestyle Medicine.
CME: This activity has been planned and implemented in
accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council
for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the
American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) and the American College of
Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). ACPM is accredited by the ACCME to provide
continuing medical education for physicians.
The American College of Preventive Medicine designates this
course (clinical conference and practice management workshop combined) for a
maximum of 22 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the
credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the
activity.

workshop teaching doctors from across the country how to implement his heart
