Join us Monday, March 10, 8-9pm EDT for a webinar jointly hosted by the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) and the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) to discuss Preventing What? The Problem of Human Rights and Prevention" The webinar is presented by Schuyler W. Henderson, MD MPH, Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at New York University and Adjunct Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine School of Public Health.  Dr. Henderson will give an overview of the development of human rights, the problems a human rights perspective poses in a preventive medicine context, and how a human rights perspective can nevertheless inform preventive medicine/public health practice, and vice versa.
