Program Description: The Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency Program at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School provides two years of training in this subspecialty of preventive medicine. In the selection of candidates, preference will be given to physicians who have completed two years of a primary care specialty such as Internal Medicine or Family Practice. The residency has been designed to satisfy the didactic and practicum year requirements for certification in Occupational Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Applicants must be eligible for licensure by the State of New Jersey.
