months. The second training format is a practicum-only
program, where physicians holding a Master of Public Health
degree may apply exclusively for the practicum year of the
program. Practicum-only residencies are completed in 12
months.

All practicum rotations require travel. Rotation sites include
the Michigan Department of Community Health, Ingham
County Health Department, and Michigan Public Health
Institute in Lansing, MI; Washtenaw County Public Health in
Ypsilanti, MI; Foundation for a Healthy Community in Jackson,
MI; and Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI.
