Program Description: The Cook County Hospital Occupational Medicine Program offers a 4 year combined Internal Medicine/Occupational Medicine Program. Interested Medical Students can apply through the National Residents Matching Program to begin in the PGY1 year. The Cook County Hospital Occupational Medicine Program has been fully accredited since 1980. The academic portion of the Program is offered through the University of Illinois School of Public Health. The Program will also offer a two-year "straight" Occupational Medicine Program to qualified candidates who have completed at least one clinical year in an ACGME-approved program.
