The prize for the best paper is $1000, and it will be published, after passing review, and editing, in AJPM. The awardee will also be honored at Preventive Medicine 2007, ACPM's annual meeting.  Any prevention-related topic will be considered; award winners have historically been original scientific contributions.

Individuals interested in learning more about residency training in preventive medicine and the specialty of preventive medicine are encouraged to visit APTR’s (www.atpm.org) and ACPM's (www.acpm.org) websites.
