Course Details
The ACPM Preventive
Medicine Board Review Course provides
the only comprehensive framework for
review and preparation for the
American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM)
certification examination. The course
is aligned, in both content and emphasis
with the ABPM Study Guide. For
participants not preparing for the exam,
the course is a valuable opportunity to
update and refresh knowledge of
preventive medicine and earn continuing
medical education (CME) credits.
At the conclusion of the
course, participants will be able to:

Aerospace Medicine
review includes coverage of the flight
environment, clinical aerospace
medicine, operational aerospace medicine
and management & administration.

review includes disability management
and work fitness, workplace health and
surveillance, hazard recognition,
evaluation and control, clinical
occupational medicine, occupational
health program management, environmental
health and risk assessment and
toxicology.

Public Health/General Preventive
Medicine
review includes health services
administration and areas of
environmental health, biostatistics,
epidemiology, clinical preventive
medicine, public health law and medical
economics relevant to the PH/GPM
specialty examination.
In addition,
a luncheon presentation by ABPM including
background on development of the exam,
scoring process and re-certification with
time allotted for Q&A will be part of the
program.
