This one-hour session features two of the
nation’s leading specialists on intimate
partner violence (IPV). The
web-conference will provide an overview of
the prevalence of adolescent intimate
partner violence in the United States, and
will review and compare the various IPV
screening tools for health care providers.
The session will also focus specifically
on identifying the signs of violence in
the clinical setting, and how to create an
exit plan for women and adolescents
involved in violent relationships.
Participants of this conference will learn
how to better recognize common
characteristics of, and effective
preventive interventions for, adolescent
intimate partner violence.
