ACPM Sections

ACPM strongly encourages all members to become active in the College through service in Sections and Committees. Service to the College benefits members through the advancement of the College's objectives, and increased visibility of the Preventive Medicine specialty.

Members may participate in sections of the College based on current academic status; age; or residency status. Members not assigned to a section may volunteer for committee service based upon interests and experience.

Young Physician Section:
ACPM members under the age of 40 or within eight years of last residency completion are automatically assigned membership within the Young Physician Section (YPS). For more information about YPS activities, please click here.

Resident Physician Section:
ACPM Resident members are automatically assigned membership in the College's Resident Physician Section (RPS). For more information on RPS activities, please click here.

Medical Student Section:
ACPM Medical Student members are automatically assigned membership in the College's Medical Student Section (MSS). For more information on MSS activities, please click here.

Mentoring Initiative:
All ACPM members are encouraged to join the Mentoring Initiative allowing recent graduates and residents the opportunity for mentorship from seasoned physicians, and ACPM leaders.
