Why become an ACPM Member?
Founded in 1954, the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) actively promotes the practice, teaching and research of preventive medicine. Our members are committed to disease prevention and promoting the health and wellness of individuals, communities and nations.
ACPM is a physician-only membership constituency. Therefore, you must be a medical student, or possess a valid license to practice medicine to become a member.
As an ACPM member, you will enjoy access to a variety of useful benefits, such as:
- Lively Networking - Attend conferences and professional development workshops, and connect with your colleagues through our online forums and social media outlets.
- Continuous Learning - Learn more about developments in Preventive Medicine research through a subscription to the American Journal of Preventive Medicine (AJPM), webinars and training!
- Career Advancement - ACPM's Online Career Center connects job seekers with employers...and is completely free to members.
- Meaningful Achievement - Enhance recognition of the specialty through ACPM awards and fellowship.
- Deep Discounts - Your ACPM membership ensures you will receive significant savings on ACPM's Annual Preventive Medicine Conference, Annual Board Review Course, and other training opportunities.
