Physicians who are not board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM), an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board, or American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and physicians who live or have received training abroad with credentials that are difficult to evaluate, are eligible for Associate Membership. Associate members may remain in this category indefinitely. Associates are eligible to vote, but may not hold office within the College. The fee includes a print subscription to the American Journal of Preventive Medicine (AJPM).
Note: Associate members are not eligible for ACPM Fellowship. Fellows must be certified by certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM), an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board, or American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
