2012 Board Review Course (BRC) Syllabus and DVD-ROM

The three-volume, 1,500 pages Review Course Syllabus will contain outlines, reference lists, practice questions, and other study materials provided by the faculty of the 25th Annual Preventive Medicine Board Review Course to be held in August 2012. The course is designed to help physicians to prepare for the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM) Certification Examination by providing a comprehensive review of the specialty. The materials vary from year to year as faculty members revise their materials, and as new faculty members are added. The topics covered each year include biostatistics, epidemiology, chronic disease, infectious disease, environmental health and medicine, behavioral medicine, public health law, occupational medicine, administration management, and specialty reviews of general preventive medicine/public health, occupational and environmental medicine, and aerospace medicine.

Note: Session changes may occur and not all presentations may be recorded due to speaker consent, AV problems, or program changes.

A. CME and MOC Credits

CME and MOC credits are available through the Board Review Course. Credits may be earned by attending the course, or via DVD-Rom. ACPM members do not pay (per credit fees) for CME and MOC. Non-ACPM members pay $524 for the CD and $10 each for CME and MOC credits.
