The Prevention Practice Committee publishes ACPM position statements on preventive and lifestyle medicine; publishes consumer-focused summaries of ACPM position statements in mainstream print and online publications to inform and engage the general public in health promotion and wellness strategies; and builds working relationships/partnerships with clinical preventive services, family medicine groups, health systems and others to promote Preventive Medicine phyisician expertise on current health-related issues.
